Draft pending owner approval. This document is a starting point prepared for the business owner to review and approve. It is general information and not legal advice.

1. Purpose of this notice

The Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) regulates how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared. This notice summarises how SAM-SAM ENTERPRISE handles personal information.

2. What we collect and why

We collect the information you provide when you submit an enquiry or engage a service: your name, contact details, business details, the nature of your requirement and any documents you choose to upload. This is used to respond to you, quote for the work and deliver the service.

3. Lawful basis

We process personal information to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, to perform an agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in administering the business.

4. Sensitive information

Please do not send passwords, banking login details or unnecessary sensitive personal information. If a service genuinely requires sensitive information, we will explain why and how it should be provided.

5. Sharing and cross-border processing

Personal information may be shared with institutions such as SARS, CIPC or a bank only where necessary to deliver the service you requested, or where required by law. Where a service provider stores data outside South Africa, we require an appropriate level of protection.

6. Security and retention

Access is limited to authorised persons. Uploaded documents are stored privately and accessed through time-limited links. Information is retained only as long as necessary and as required by law.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, and may object to processing. Contact thabelosamuelnenzheele@gmail.com or 064 658 6436.

8. Information Officer

The business owner is responsible for POPIA compliance and must confirm the registered Information Officer details with the Information Regulator. Complaints may be directed to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
