How to Register on the CSD
What the Central Supplier Database is for, what a complete supplier profile requires, and what it does not guarantee.

What the CSD is
State organs use the Central Supplier Database to verify the details of businesses that want to supply goods or services. Registering creates a supplier profile that procurement officials can check.
Information a profile typically holds
- Company registration details
- Tax compliance information
- Banking details, supported by confirmation from the bank
- Contact details and the categories of goods or services supplied
- Ownership and director information
Why accuracy matters
A profile that does not match the company's official documents creates delays and, in some cases, disqualifies a supplier from a process. When details change — a new bank account, an address, a director — the profile must be updated.
What registration does not do
Registering on the CSD does not guarantee any tender, quote request or contract. Awards are made by the procuring institution after its own evaluation.
